Geography prizes

• JJ Wood Prize

  This scholarship supports female students in the third or fourth year of the bachelors of Arts, Science or Environments who achieve outstanding results in a Geography major subject and intend to enrol in the respective honours program or, with school approval, undertake related studies at another university.

• Dwight Prize

  This scholarship is awarded for academic excellence in the final assessment of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or Bachelor of Science (Honours) in the discipline of geography.

• Applied Urban Geography Award

  This scholarship recognises students who completed a geography major in a bachelor of Science, Arts or Environment and are enrolling in a respective honours program or a Master of Geography with a thesis in applied urban geography.

• Michael Webber Doctoral Prize in Geography

  This scholarship supports students undertaking field work or travel associated with a PhD in geography at the University of Melbourne.
