Using pathways to guide your geography career
Welcome to the School of Geography pathway exploration tool. These pathways have been designed to help students identify geography subjects aligned with their interests or by the subjects they have already taken. Geographical pathways can sit within either the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science. Pathways are not formal degrees or qualifications, but rather are recommended groupings of similar or related subjects. Students may use the pathways to choose subjects of interest, or to build a particular skillset for their preferred career path. When enrolling, students must ensure that degree requirements are met.
When using the tool, you can explore pathways in two ways: by keywords or by subjects. When you choose keywords or subjects, the associated pathways are highlighted. We invite you to play with the tool and see where your geographical interests might take you.
