Artist in Residence work featured on the cover of INSITE

The work of Artist in Residence Linda Tegg has featured on the cover of the August-October issue of INSITE magazine.

The cover is an image of Grasslands, 2014. Grasslands recreated pre-settlement grasslands in the State Library Victoria forecourt in collaboration with John Delpratt, a University of Melbourne horticulturist and ecologist.

Linda Tegg is the inaugural artist for the University of Melbourne School of Geography’s Artist in Residence program (AiRG). She studied a Master of Fine Arts (Visual Art) and a Master of Fine Art (Research) at the Victorian College of the Arts.

INSITE magazine is about the people and stories that together make up our diverse Victorian museum and gallery community. With interviews, articles, and industry news, it is essential reading for all staff and volunteers in the sector. INSITE is a hard-copy magazine that is published four times a year.

The August-October 2017 Green Museums issue of INSITE has 4 articles about how museums and galleries are addressing sustainability and climate change and 4 pages about this years Victorian Museum Awards.
